Majority of the members of the Super Sand Eagles, have been denied visa in preparations for the Beach Soccer World Cup, scheduled to hold in Bahamas, later this month.
The Nigeria Team came second in the Africa Beach Soccer Championship held in Lagos, last year, after falling to defeat against Senegal.
According to a member of the Nigeria Super Sand Team, who claimed anonymous, only five players have been granted visa.
“We like emergency service situation in Nigeria. The players resumed camping today and will be traveling by next week Tuesday.”
“Most of the players were denied visa, and only 5 players were issued visa, although the Secretary assured that the situation have been reported to FIFA.”
The Nigeria Team will jet out to Senegal for a Four-Nation invitational tournament next week, in preparations for the World Cup.
The World Cup which is scheduled to kick off on April 27th and end by May 7th, will see Nigeria competing in Group B with, Italy, Iran and Mexico.
