Kano Pillars and Plateau United are poised on getting the services of Akwa United box to box midfielder, Afeez Aremu in the mid season transfer window.
The Oyo State born have started 16 out of 18 games for the Promise keepers this season and could be on his way to either Kano or Jos.
Sportlens360.com gathered that, both clubs have asked for the services of the former Sunshine Stars and Rivers United midfielder.
Akwa United are placed 5th on the NPFL standings, after the incredible 1-0 win over Kano Pillars, away at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
The promise keepers have gone through games with the trio of Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Ibrahim Alhassan, and Afeez Aremu in the midfield, which means Aremu’s exit could be a big loss for the Uyo-Based club.

Afeez Aremu started the 2016 season with Sunshine Stars, before moving to Rivers United at mid-season, and was vital to the team finishing second last season.
Plateau United have spent more days at being top of the league, although manager of the side, Kennedy Boboye, has insisted that the team will recruit couple of players in their bid of winning the 2017 NPFL title. Kano Pillars on the other hand, were the side that signed most players prior to the start of the 2017 season.
