Ibrahimovic could be on his way to MLS after ending his season with Manchester United on the sidelines.
The Sweden International who has an option of a year contract extension after the expiration of his current contract might not continue with the Red devils due to extent of the injury which might likely rule him out for up to 9 months.
According to The Mirror, Ibrahimovic has accepted that he will not play for the Red Devils again, and is now targeting a return to action in the United States.
Quite a number of MLS clubs has shown interest in the Forward and a return to action in the US might be the next move.
The operation is expected to take place in America.
