New Shooting Stars attacker, Wasiu Jimoh has issued a warning to other teams in the NPFL, that he rejoined the Oluyole Warriors to bang in goals.
Teku, as he’s been called, move on loan from FC IfeanyiUbah to Shooting Stars, where he started his career in the NPFL, after struggling for gametime with the Anambra warriors.
The Former flying Eagles player netted six goals for Shooting Stars, last season in the first round before moving to FC IfeanyiUbah later that season.
The Kwara-born winger shared his expectations in joining his former team, in an interview with Sportlens360.
“I expect to work hard more and I dont need to prove anything to anybody. The only thing I need to work on, is how to prove to myself that I can do it. I’m in Shooting stars to bang goals, I want to score goals.”
He also continued, by tipping Shooting Stars over FC IfeanyiUbah, as they will be facing off in Ibadan this Sunday. Although Wasiu, is ineligible to play, because FC IfeanyiUbah released him on loan.
“The game on Sunday is going to be a tight game, because the two teams need the point and I belong to both teams. FC IfeanyiUbah have got a lot of quality players but with hardwork, I believe 3sc will get the 3points, because I know they have what it takes to win the game on Sunday.”
