Enyimba FC forward, Ibrahim Mustapaha says his side are already seeing themselves as League Champions despite a slow start to the season on a bad home pitch.
The 7-time NPFL Champions have played their home games this season at the UJ Esuene Stadium, in Calabar – a pitch which seems degrading.
The Peoples Elephant are placed 7th on the Current Standings on the NPFL Log, having 38points in the process, 7points behind League Leaders Plateau United.
In a chat with Sportlens360, Ibrahim Mustapha popularly known as ‘Yuga’, Shared the positive spirit in the Camp of Enyimba.
“We see ourselves as League Champions, and have received lots of motivation from the management and the Technical Crew.
He continued, talking about the state of the UJ Eseune pitch.
“The pitch is more better than before and we are getting used to it, I believe everything with the pitch will be fine soon”.
