Kano Pillars defender, Alimi Jamiu has described the Matchday 26 NPFL fixture against ABS FC Of Ilorin, as a much needed match in view of earning a continetal ticket at the end of the season.
The Sai Masugida faces a tough test, as they will battle ABS FC, who are still unbeaten at home since the start of the season.
Kano Pillars are unbeaten in four matches now, beating Lobi Stars 2-1 on Matchday 22, then picked a point in Ibadan against Shooting Stars in a stalemate draw, moved on to beat Sunshine Stars and MFM FC both 3-1, on Matchday 24 and 25 respectively.
Nigeria International and Kano Pillars defender, Alimi Jamiu spoke with Sportlens360 in a chat sharing his expectation for the match against ABS FC on Wednesday.
‘My expectation is to go for the win, because we need to start getting away points, if we want continental ticket’.
The former Shooting Stars Defender continued stating the reason, why they can stop ABS FC’s home unbeaten record.
‘We can stop their home unbeaten record, because we believe in ourselves and we want the point more than ever’.
