Nwabulu promises Kano Pillars usual defeat in Bauchi

Goalkeeper of Wikki Tourists, Emeka Nwabulu has promised that his struggling side will overcome high flying Kano Pillars in the usual manner, as the two square-off  in Bauchi on Sunday.

The Magnut led team lost 2-0 to Shooting Stars in Ibadan last Matchday,  with goals from Ajani and Bode Daniel, and are still struggling to get off the relegation zone.

Wikki Tourists finished in third place at the end of last season but have managed to gather 34points in 27games, 4points behind 10th placed Kano Pillars, who are on a 5-match unbeaten run.

Emeka Nwabulu, with 7 clean sheets to his account this season, chatted with Sportlens360 about the optimism of avoiding relegation, by beating usual customers Kano Pillars in Bauchi.

‘We can match Kano pillars despite their unbeaten run, because I believe in my teammates. We are not scared of Kano Pillars, they always lose when they come here.’
