Kano Pillars defender, Jamiu Alimi is expecting a tough game against League Champions, Enugu Rangers in the Matchday Nigeria Professional Football League fixture at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on Sunday.
Pillars who have lost just once in their last six games with the 1-0 loss against Wikki Tourists on Matchday 28 will face the embattled Enugu Rangers. A win for Pillars might put the flying antelopes into the relegation zone.
The Masugida have gathered 38points in 27games, with a game in hand against Akwa United, while Enugu Rangers have 36points in 28games played.
In an interview with Sportlens360, Pillars defender Alimi Jamiu says he expects a tough encounter against the League Champions.
“It’s a game we are going to take seriously, because they are like a wounded lion due to the last home game against Shooting Stars which ended 1-1. I only think about my team and its position.”
