No more away run for Sunshine, not in Bauchi – Nwabulu

July 30th, 2017 Dammy Dudu NPFL Updates 0 comments

Wikki Tourists goalkeeper, Emeka Nwabulu has dismissed any hopes for Sunshine Stars to get a win in Bauchi as they face each other in a Matchday 32 fixture on Sunday.

Sunshine Stars have been magnificent in their last two consecutive away games beating ABS FC 4-2 at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin, before going to beat Rivers United 1-0 at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port-Harcourt, pushing themselves out of the relegation zone in a long while.

Wikki Tourists started the season slowly, and have had to manage to move steps out of the relegation zone and won’t take any match for granted as they face a good Duke Udi side who have been impressed in the last two away games, looking to set a record of being the only team to have won three consecutive away games.

The Bauchi based team, who have gathered 40 points in 31 games could move up to 11th position from their current 15th position.

In a chat with Sportlens360, the young stopper, Nwabulu discussed how Prepared they are for the game, in respect to Sunshine Stars away recent form.

“Their away form won’t show up in Bauchi, I believe we will beat them here. We are well prepared for this match, and I believe today will be ours”.
