Wasiu Jimoh positive about Shooting Stars relegation survival

August 2nd, 2017 Dammy Dudu NPFL Updates 0 comments

Shooting Stars forward, Wasiu Jimoh has continue to maintain positive attitude towards Shooting Stars surviving the drop as the relegation battle becomes fierce.

The oluyole warriors were out of the relegation zone after Matchday 31 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL),  but dropped back in the zone after losing 2-0  to League leaders, Plateau United on Matchday 32 On Sunday.

However the former FC IfeanyiUbah believes, the players are focused on getting all the points avalaible and wouldn’t come short of that.

“We will survive in the relegation battle,  because as a team we are determined to fight till the end”, He told Sportlens360.

The former flying eagles striker continued, discussing the spirit in Camp.

“We have a very good and positive spirit in the Camp and we are focused on this weekend match against Gombe United, because it a must win match for us”.

17th placed Shooting Stars with 40 points garnered so far, will face fellow strugglers and 19th placed Gombe United in Ibadan on Sunday.
