Kano Pillars winger, Amos Gyang says he is keen on showing his home team Plateau United, what they are missing in him, as the two battle each other at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano in a Matchday 33 fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The jos born have been missing for Kano Pillars in some couple of games, until he started against Rivers United where he got a penalty after being upended in the box and Rabiu Ali calmly slotting the spot kick home in a 2-0 win.
The former Giwa FC of Jos player, spoke with Sportlens360 expressing his delight in getting back into the team.
“Well Its one of those moment in football, where you can be in or out of the team. The most important thing is I’m back to the team. I was happy to provide a penalty that led to the breakdown of Rivers United at our home”.
Gyang, who was born and brought up in Jos continued, expressing how keen he is to show his home team what he is made of.
“Well playing against my home team will be one of my best moment because I will love to show them that, they are missing an instrument that was brought up in the state”.
Plateau United remain top of the log after Matchday 32, while Kano Pillars sits on 9th, expecting to finish in a top three position especially after the massive signings prior to the season.
