Super Eagles set to battle Ghana in a win or go home game

September 18th, 2017 Dammy Dudu African Football 0 comments

The Super Eagles of Nigeria Team B will be looking forward to beating Host Ghana, in a must win encounter, as the two rivals face-off in the ongoing WAFU Nations Cup on Monday.

The black stars of Ghana are leading the Group having won their first two games, accumulating six points and gained top spot qualification in the Group.

The Eagles have only two points and must win to be sure of a place in the last four.

Ghana’s six points have come from wins over Guinea and Mali, who both drew with Nigeria and thus have a point each.

But a win for either team (Guinea/Mali) in their game, that will run simultaneously at the Ndoum Stadium, will knock the Eagles out of the running if they fail to defeat Ghana.
