La liga outfit Real Madrid are the recent club to join Barcelona for race to sign Phillipe Coutinho.
Despite the wish of the midfielder to join Barcelona after handing the club a transfer request during the transfer window, the move didn’t pull through.
Liverpool rejected three offers for the 25-year-old, the largest which totalled £114m with add-ons.
Mundo Deportivo suggests that Madrid are the latest side to join the race and have already contacted the player’s representatives, but they will not move until the end of the season which could give Barca a head-start.
Reports also suggests that Paris Saint Germain are also interested in the signature of the Brazil playmaker.
