Kano Pillars football club is set to hit Ilorin with his technical crew and players on Thursday, November 9th ahead of the Gold cup pre season tournament.

The club chairman, Alhaji Tukur Babangida after a meeting with the technical crew and players at the club’s Secretariat in kano, said the team will be participating in the tournament expected to kick off November 15.

He welcomed the new players and urged them to give their best towards the success of the club in the forthcoming 2017/2018 NPFL season.

He enjoined both the players and technical crew to be committed in their duties, saying that the management will not condole any act of unseriousness this time around from any quarter.

“Let me tell you, is better to have a committed player than to have a skillful player who is not committed and I have the confidence all of you here with us are ready to do well,” Tukur said.

The chairman said the club was not indebted to any of its players for the 2016/2017 season and assured that the club would maintain same in the coming season.

Responding, the technical adviser of the team, Coach Ibrahim A. Musa, pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them and commended the management for their commitment in promoting the welfare of the players all the time.
