Manchester United defender Marcus Rojo has made his return from injury as he featured for the U-23 side this evening.
The 26-year-old has been sidelined since April after suffering a knee ligament injury in the Europa League quarterfinal against Anderlecht.
Rojo played 45minutes of the friendly match against Athletic Bilbao which took place at Leigh Sports Village. Manchester United won the game .
Speaking ahead of the 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao , Rojo said: “I feel good. Up until now, I have not had any problems but training is not the same as a match.
“In three weeks we have a Champions League game and if all goes well tomorrow, I could play in that.”
This will come as a boost for José Mourinho
