Otegbeye complete Akwa United move, says he wants to win titles

Goal Poacher, Ajiboye Otegbeye has completed a move from Sunshine Stars to Uyo-based side, Akwa United ahead of the 2017/2018 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season for an undisclosed fee.

Otegbeye, who scored thirteen goals for the Owena Waves in the 2016/2017 season, despite only playing the second round will lead the attack of the 2017 Aiteo Cup Champions.

Speaking to Sportlens360, the former Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC forward, expressed his excitement joining Akwa United and hope to win titles with the team.

“I’m excited about joining the Aiteo Cup champions and I’m happy with the good management they have. They are a professional club with the way they run things. I hope to have a good season ahead and win titles with the team”.

Akwa United will compete in three major competition next season, NPFL, Aiteo Cup, and the CAF Confederations Cup.
