Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has tipped Liverpool and Manchester City as the two teams who could possibly win the premier league title in the coming season.
The Reds are ready to compete for the title as they’ve been strengthening their squad by getting new players.
Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri are the latest addition to Jurgen Klopp squad as the team are ready to go all out to claim major trophies.
“Man City are obviously the favourites again, but I’ve got a strong feeling Liverpool will chase them all the way this year,” he told talkSPORT.
“Now they’ve made the two or three signings they were maybe short of last season, Klopp is gradually, bit-by-bit, putting the pieces of that team together.
“I think he’s very, very close to it at Liverpool now and I think they are going to be big contenders this year for sure.
Tottenham are going to be there again, and so are Manchester United. If anyone is going to miss out, unless Arsenal improve drastically and Chelsea, they may end up finishing fifth and sixth again.
“I’d be surprised in Spurs didn’t make the top four again, I think they’re capable, but I think Liverpool and Man City will fight it out for the Premier League title this year.”
