Kano Pillars were handed a major injury boost with the news that Hillary Ikenna is set to return to action for the resumption of the 2019 Abridged Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The former MFK Skalica midfielder who have been on the sidelines for two months after the game against Akwa United which ended 1-1 on Matchday three is set to resume duties for the Kano based club.
Speaking exclusively to Sportlens360, Hillary said he was lucky to return early from injury.
“I have started rehab and almost through with that, hopefully I get to join the team in proper training this week. I’m very lucky to be back this soon and I can’t wait to get my season going”. He said.
Kano Pillars will play Group B leaders, FC IfeanyiUbah as the the second round of the 2019 set to kick off on March 17.
