Plateau United shot stopper, Dele Ajiboye said he is unhappy with the stale draw against Heartland on Sunday even though he kept a clean sheet in the NPFL Matchday 14 fixture.
The 2017 League Champions are currently in the relegation zone and are on 18points after 14 round of games. A feat they wouldn’t have expected after the huge signings like Oche Salefu, Sikiru Olatunbosun, Bernard Ovoke, Gabriel Wassa et al and also a sound coach like Abdul Maikaba, who won the 2017 Aiteo Cup with Akwa United.
Speaking exclusively to Sportlens360, the Nigeria International said he is unhappy with the current position of the team but believes thing will change soon.
‘I have been sick for a while and out of games but kept a clean sheet against Heartland on my return. However the team comes first and I’m not happy about our current position on the log. We should be up there competing for playoffs spot’. Ajiboye said.
‘We have a very good coach and the players are top players too, but we need to start winning every now and I believe we can’. He concluded.
