Nigerian Midfielder Fidelis Irhene has revealed that Europa League qualification tops his priority as the Cypriot league is gradually coming to it’s climax.
Speaking shortly after he capped a Man of the match performance with a goal against AEK Larnaca the diminutive midfielder revealed that the probability of his side securing a continental slot through the premier league is low but winning the league cup against an inform Apollon Limassol will secure their qualifications.
“We are fourth on the league table and also qualified for the final of the league cup where we will come up against Apollon Limossal”.
“We have rather had a very good season despite losing some important games but with three games left we will continue to push until the end of the season”.
On his side’s chances against a more experienced Apollon, Fidelis said,
“I am very optimistic we will win the finals and qualify for the Europa League which will crown a successful season for us, he concluded”.
