Niger Tornadoes will host Road Safety Football Club in a friendly game, as they prepare for their biggest game of the season against Kano Pillars in the 2019 Aiteo Cup finals.
The Bala-led side cruised to a 2-1 win over Rivers United last Thursday in the Semifinals Of the Aiteo Cup and set a date with four-time league Champions Kano Pillars, who defeated Calabar Rovers 3-2 on penalties.
Niger Tornadoes who clinched their second Cup final in three years, will be hoping to get the final spot of the CAF Confederations Cup for Nigeria by winning the Aiteo Cup this year.
Although, the date for the final is yet to be fixed but Coach of the side, Bala Abubakar has confirmed that his team will continue with preparations as they are set to play Road Safety Football Club on Monday by 8am.
Tornadoes might not be the favorites for the 2019 Aiteo Cup finals, but their preparations will have a lot to tell as they look to put the loss in 2017 final against Akwa United behind them.
