Second half substitute, Paul Onuachu netted a brace for KRC Genk as they completed a comeback in a 2-1 win over Mouscron in their Belgian Pro League game on Sunday evening.
The Nigeria Forward, who was an unused substitute in the 0-0 draw against Italian giants, Napoli in the UEFA Champions League game on Wednesday came off the bench to seal three points for KRC Genk at home.
As both sides couldn’t break the deadlock in the first half, Jonah Osabutey scored the opener for the visitors in the 49th minute.
Paul Onuachu, who was brought on, in the 60th minute needed just 15 minutes to restore parity in the game through an effort from close range.
The lanky striker headed home the second with the last kick of the game to complete the comeback and increase his goal tally to five since joining the Belgian Side from Midtjylland in August.
Onuachu’s fellow Nigeria mate, Stephen Odey also made a cameo appearance by coming on, in the 89th minute of the game.
Paul Onuachu is part of the Super Eagles team that will face Brazil in a friendly match on October 13th at the National Stadium, Singapore.
