Plateau United midfielder, Oche Salefu says he is keen on scoring more goals for Plateau United after netting his third goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Jigawa Golden Stars on Sunday.
The midfielder, who has enjoyed an outstanding season for Plateau United opened the scoring for the 2017 NPFL Champions in the first half before Tosin Omoyele added the second just before halftime.
A sloppy defending by Plateau United gave Ibrahim Saleh the chance to get one past Chinedu Anozie in goal as the match ended 2-1 in favor of Plateau United.
Speaking to Sportlens360, the former Rivers United midfielder said he wants to keep scoring until the end of the season.
“I’ve had a good form for Plateau United this season, well, the secret is my mother’s prayers. I feel so great scoring my third goal of the season and I know that, I’m still going to get more goals before the end of the season”. He told Sportlens360.
Plateau United, who sits at the top of the NPFL log will go away to Bauchi, as they face Wikki Tourists in their Matchday 23 fixture next Sunday.
