Seun Olulayo happy with away point for Sunshine Stars in Bauchi

Sunshine Stars defender, Seun Olulayo has expressed his excitement after his team held Wikki Tourists to a stalemate in a Matchday 10 fixture of the NPFL which went down at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Sunday.

It was an excellent result for a team who had suffered two successive defeats, 4-1 loss to Abia Warriors and 2-1 home loss to Kwara United.

“I’m really excited that we went to a place like Bauchi and got a draw, although we wanted all three points,” said Olulayo.

Seun Olulayo who has garnered four assists this season also shared the reason why the team had to fight for that away point.

“We had to fight for that point, because we lost two consecutive games and a turnaround was needed. We want to keep getting better as the season goes on.” Olulayo told Sportlens360.

Sunshine Stars will host Heartland in their next game on Sunday and will hope to get back to winning ways.
