June 20th, 2017 Dammy Dudu News, NPFL Updates 0 comments

Kano Pillars forward, Amos Gyan has expressed his excitement after returning back into the team with a goal against MFM FC in a 3-1 win on Matchday 25 fixture in Kano.

The Sai Masugida played their second consecutive home game on Sunday after beating Sunshine Stars on Matchday 24 prior to the game against MFM FC.

Rabiu Ali’s spot kick was the difference at Halftime, until NPFL current Topscorer, Stephen Odey hit the back of the net early in the second half.

Gyan, the former Giwa Fc player was then introduced in the 70th minute, having missed Kano Pillars previous 6matches due to choice of selection, as he wasted no time proving his credentials, giving Pillars the lead in the 82nd minute.

Speaking in an interview with Sportlens360, Gyan expressed his joy and concede, he has to work hard to regain his place in the team.

“It hasn’t been easy, being out for 6 matches and back with a goal and man of the match in just 20minutes.”

He continued.”Well I felt very excited scoring on my return from lengthy absence from the team, I’m gonna work harder to keep my place.”

Kano Pillars will travel to Ilorin to face ABS FC next on Matchday 26.
