Kano Pillars forward, Nyima Nwagua has identify the need to work hardwe after his emergence as League Bloggers Awards (LBA) Award winner for June.
The former Lobi Stars striker clinched the prestigious monthly award ahead of former teammate, Anthony Okpotu of Lobi Stars, Adeshina Issa Gata of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC), and Musa Newman of Akwa United.
Nwagua helped Kano Pillars to an unbeaten run in the month of June, scoring three goals and getting one assist in the process.
He scored twice in their 2-1 home win over Lobi Stars and then netted once in the 3-1 win over Sunshine Stars, also at home.
On Matchday 26, Nwagua Provided an assist for Rabiu Ali’s header goal which gave them a point at ilorin against ABS FC in a match that ended one-all.
In an interview with Sportlens360, the forward expects more hard work from himself, as all eyes are now set on him.
“I feel blessed and favored by God winning the award. Winning the LBA award is helping me already, because I’m working harder now, in other to get more from the game. Moreover, all eyes are now set on me”.
