Nasarawa United Captain, Emmanuel Makama says, Niger Tornadoes should forget about any chance of repeating the first leg feat, as they face off in Lafia on Sunday.
The Solid Miners lost 2-0 in the first meeting this season, as the Ikon Allah boys got the better of them at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja on Matchday 12 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
In a bid to finish in top three, Nasarawa United won’t take anything for granted especially after grabbing an important away win at Ijebu Ode against Sunshine Stars with a Abdulrahman Bashir only goal on Matchday 29.
Speaking with Sportlens360, the captain of the side, Emmanuel Makama says there is no chance for Niger Tornadoes in Lafia.
“There is no chance for Niger Tornadoes to do anything here in Lafia. We are going all out for victory”.
Nasarawa United have 44points in 31 games played and are placed 9th on the log, while Niger Tornadoes are just a position above the solid miners, with 45points gathered in 31games.
