Abia Warriors Forward, Godwin Zaki has been suspended indefinitely from the club activities for indiscipline and professional misconduct, the club announced on Wednesday.
The Nigeria Professional Football League side released a letter, which contain the indefinite suspension of the player and signed by the club secretary, Mr. Oliver Ndife.
In the letter released, the club directed the striker to vacate the club’s camp immediately and submit any of the club’s property in his possession to the Camp Commandants before leaving.
The Umuahia based club also warned all players and officials to always follow the right channel to table any grievances or be punished.
It could be recalled that the Benue born vented on his social media account, for not making the 18-man squad that played Lobi Stars in Makurdi on Matchday 33, a match that ended 4-2 in Abia Warriors favor.
