Enyimba FC forward, Ibrahim Mustapha was happy getting back his scoring boots, scoring the third goal in the 3-0 bashing of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC in Calabar on Sunday.
The Matchday 34 encounter, between the Seven time Champions and the Saraki Boys, got an opener in the 16th minute, when Stanley Dimgba headed in a freekick by midfielder, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, before Eric Frimpong added the second just before halftime in the 45th minute, also by an header from a freaking by Ikechuwku Ibenegbu.
Enyimba completed their rout over ABS FC in the 63rd, when Ibrahim Mustapha scored the third with a Stephen Chukwude assist, to condemn the Saraki Boys to relegation zone, and keep alive their top three finish hopes.
In a Chat with Sportlens360, the former Elkanemi Warriors striker, expressed his excitement in finally getting a goal after a while and his expectations for the team.
“Its been a long time since I scored and I’m very happy to get back my scoring form, thanks to Allah. I’m very sure we will finish in top three at the end of the season”.
Ibrahim Mustapha is now currently on five goals for the Seven time Champions, Enyimba FC.
