Plateau United midfielder, Ben Turba says his team are ready to be crown Champions of the 2017 Nigeria professional Football League (NPFL) season after their impressive run through the year.
The Jos based team are currently top of the Nigeria Professional Football League log with just a point ahead of second placed MFM FC, but have an advantage of playing their title deciding match at home against outgoing Champions, Enugu Rangers on Saturday.
Plateau United’s main title contenders MFM FC, will face Elkanemi Warriors who are on a 31-match unbeaten run, in far away Maiduguri on Saturday as both teams look to end the season on a high.
Speaking to Sportlens360, Plateau United midfielder, Ben Ishaya says Enugu Rangers can’t get in their way of winning their first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title.
“We are expecting a very tough game, because Enugu Rangers are a very good side with lots of good players, coupled with the fact that they are the defending Champions. We have prepared well for the game and we are set and ready to be crown champions after the Rangers game”.
