Arsenal Forward Alexandre Lacazette has revealed that there was interest from PSG for his signature but he chose to test his ability with Arsenal.
Lacazette, who joined Arsenal from Lyon was outstanding in the 2016/2017 season scoring 36 goals in 44 appearances.
The Striker claimed that his desire to play in another league was the reason for rejecting PSG.
Lacazette told RMC Sport : “We talked to PSG but I knew it was not where I wanted to go. In France, I would only play for Lyon.
“PSG could have helped me progress because they of the big players they have but I wanted to play in another league.”
Lacazette is currently with the France National team for their World Cup Qualifier matches against Bulgaria and Belarus.
