Former Sunshine Stars and Super Eagles star joins Ethiopian side

Former Sunshine Stars and Super Eagles star, Ikenna Hilary has completed his move to Ethiopian side Woliyta Dicha ahead of the upcoming Ethiopia Premier League season and 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.

Nigerian international Ikenna Hilary joined the ‘Tona Boys’ in a one year deal alongside Chadian International defender Massama Asselmo.

The 27-year old defensive midfielder formerly played for Portugese side AD Camacha, Maltese giants Valletta FC and Solvakian side Skalica.

Hilary was was also part of the bronze winning Super Eagles team at the 2014 CHAN under the guidance of Coach Stephen Keshi.

In the summer, Dicha have signed the former Anzhi Machkala Togolese goalpoacher ‘Djako Arafat’ from Hawassa Kenema and Cameroonian Custodian ‘Eko Favo’ from the relegated and disbanded Ethiopia Nigid Bank.

The 2017/2018 Ethiopia Premier League is set to kickoff at the end of this month.
