Leicester City axes Craig Shakespeare

October 17th, 2017 Dammy Dudu Football 0 comments

Leicester City have axed Craig Shakespeare as the coach of the team following their 1-1 draw against West Brom on Monday night.

The draw on monday makes it six games without a win, with three win and there draws for the foxes and have left them third from bottom of the league.

It could be recalled that the club also sacked Claudio Ranieri after the Italian went on a six-game winless run in the league before Shakespeare replaced him in February.

Shakespeare agreed a three-year contract with the Foxes and will however be handsomely paid off after his dismissal.

Leicester are the second Premier League side to switch their manager this season after Crystal Palace got rid of Frank De Boer.
