Nigeria and Chelsea star, Victor Moses will battle four other African stars for the 2017 BBC Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) Player of the Year award after nomination was announced on Saturday night.
The 27-year old was announced along with four stars vying for the award which will be decide by an open voting process.
The other nominees includes Pierre Aubameyang of Gabon and Borussia Dortmund, Sadio Mane of Senegal and Liverpool, Mo Salah of Egypt and Liverpool, Naby Keita of Guinea and RB Leipzig.
The winner of the BBC African Player of the Year award will be announced on Monday, December 11, while the CAF Player of the Year for 2017 will be announced on January 4th.
