Adejare Joy was thrilled to finally play his first FC IfeanyiUbah game on Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Matchday 2 and hopes he has done enough to be involved in the squad on Matchday 3, when the Nnewi-based side host Dakkada FC.
The left-winger, a new signing from Bentley Soccer Academy Akure, was given a 15-minutes chance of play by Uche Okagbue last Sunday in their 1-0 loss to Sunshine Stars.
“I feel happy. It was my first match for this club, so I’m really pleased and of course absolutely delighted to make FC IfeanyiUbah debut”. Joy said.
The 18-year old will hope to feature for FC IfeanyiUbah, when they face Dakkada FC in Nnewi on Sunday.
“I’m ready for 90 minutes, but it’s up to the manager to choose his team.” He said.
