Arsenal desperate to keep Smith Rowe despite Aston Villa interest
Premier league side, Arsenal are desperate to keep Emile Smith Rowe this summer despite keen interest from Aston Villa.
The 20-year old creative midfielder had an incredible season for Arteta’s side in the second half of last season, helping lead a revival in the team’s form after a poor first half of the campaign.
The Gunners are working hard on securing new signings for Arteta as they reshape the squad ahead of next season.
Although, Aston Villa are not giving up on signing Smith Rowe, despite Arsenal rejecting two offers already. Villa will bid more than the £30 million they previously offered for the midfielder, who managed four goals and seven assists last term.
There is a suggestion that Smith Rowe may be seen by Villa as a replacement for Jack Grealish, who is wanted by Premier league Champions, Manchester City.
