David Ebuka: “We put in a good performance, I’m happy with my goal and the result

Kano Pillars cruised to a 2-0 win over Dakkada FC at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna in a Matchday 33 fixture of the NPFL on Sunday with goals from Rabiu Ali and David Ebuka to keep alive their title hopes.

In the first half of the game, Dakkada FC had the ball in the net but the linesman had raised the flag for offside before the header.

The 4-time league Champions broke the deadlock in the 38th minute with a stunning effort from Rabiu Ali who increased his tally this season to 13 goals.

David Ebuka made it 2-0 in the 40th minute with a solo effort after receiving the ball from Rabiu Ali through a counter attack.

Speaking to Sportlens360, David Ebuka was happy to net his 6th league goal of the season and also help the team.

“I really like the move for the goal. I’m happy with the result, we’ve still got a lot to play for. This result means that the league and top three finish is far from over and we can keep an eye on that”. Ebuka told Sportlens360.

Kano Pillars are placed third on the log with 58points, which is the same as second placed Nasarawa United and 3 points adrift of league leaders, Akwa United.
