English side, Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of 19-year old Nigerian, Michael Olise from Reading on a 5-year deal.
Olise becomes Patrick Vieira’s first signing at the English club, since he was appointed as the manager of the side.
The announcement of Olise’s signing was made by the club on Thursday.
Michael Olise is regarded as one of the best young prospects outside the Premier League.
He had an impressive 20/2021 season with Reading by winning awards like: EFL Young Player of the Season, inclusion in both Championship Team of the Season and as well as the PFA’s Championship Team of the Year.
Olise started his youth career with Chelsea, before joining Manchester City and then Reading, where he worked his way through the system and earned a first-team debut in March 2019, aged just 17.
The former Chelsea youngster made 12 assists for Reading last season.
