Akwa United defender, Olisa Ndah says his side will face a tough test against ‘dangerous’ FC IfeanyiUbah in Nnewi on Wednesday.
The reverse fixture of this clash went in favour of the Promise Keepers at the Nest of Champions with a 1-0 win in March.
Akwa United will hope to wrap up the title challenge by beating FC IfeanyiUbah away from home. The home side are vying to survive relegation as they are currently placed 19th on the NPFL log.
Olisa Ndah spoke with Sportlens360 on why he is wary of FC IfeanyiUbah
“We are expecting the game against FC IfeanyiUbah to be tough, it won’t be easy at all because we all know their current situation and they might be dangerous. However, we are very determined to get a victory here in Nnewi.
“The spirit at the Akwa United Camp is high and we have prepared so well for this game”. Ndah told Sportlens360.
The Super Eagles defender also revealed the motivation for Akwa United’s impressive form this season.
“The motivation for this season for me is the unity and togetherness in the team, because we did not start the season so well but we never stopped believing in ourselves and it really helped us.” Ndah concluded.
