Rivers United’s Lookman Binuyo wary of Young Africans threat

Lookman Binuyo calls for confidence against Young Africans

Rivers United beat Young Africans SC 1-0 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League last Sunday in Tanzania, but Lookman Binuyo has maintained that they cannot relax ahead of the return leg in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

“We got a vital away goal and win last week Sunday but that’s not the end of the tie. We need to remain focused and disciplined like we did in the first leg.” the former Kwara United player told Sportlens360.

“They are a very strong side and we need to stop them from playing on their tempo. We want to win, in front of our fans and that’s important to us”.

“We know it is a very open game but we have to control it and get what we want”. Lookman concluded.

Rivers United will host Young Africans at the Adokiye Amiesimaka on Sunday and will hope to progress to the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League just before the main group stages.
