David Samuel resumes full training
Rijeka goalkeeper, David Samuel has recovered from his shoulder injury and has resumed full training for the Croatian side.
The 25-year old has missed more than 8 months of action after he suffered a raptured tendon on his left shoulder in January and went for a surgery.
Speaking to Sportlens360 after resuming full training, the Nigerian-born shared his injury struggle and readiness for action.
“The injury messed up a lot of things for me, but this is football and it happens. I had a surgery after suffering from the shoulder injury and It took me some toughness to get backs fully.
“I’m getting better everyday and I’ve joined the team, but hopefully I get some action soon”. David Samuel told Sportlens360.
Rijeka are currently top of the Croatian league after Matchday 9 and will seek to win the title since winning it in 2017.
