Former Enyimba star Musa Najare reveals why he joined Sheikh Jamal

Musa Najere hopes to perform well in the Bangladesh league

Musa Najare has officially completed his move to Bangladesh club, Sheikh Jamal Sheikh Dhanmondi Club on a one-year deal on Tuesday.

The former Enyimba FC striker, who played for Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Gombe United this season admitted that he needs to play on a higher level and he choose the Bangladesh side.

Speaking to Sportlens360 after signing the dotted line with the Bangladesh club, Musa Najare expects a trophy with the side.

“I’m getting older everyday and I need to keep challenging myself. This is the reason why I am in Bangladesh and I’ve decided to be with Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club.

“They are a big side and have won the league three times. They also finished the league in second place last season and I believe they can also win the league title this season.” Najare told Sportlens360.

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club are yet to lose a game this season after 11 round of matches and Musa Najare hopes to maintain that form with the yellow fear.

“I believe we can maintain the unbeaten run, especially with my wealth of experience and also with the help of my fellow Nigerian, Alaekwe Chijioke, who was also signed by the club.

“We have other Nigerian players like Mfon Udoh, Peter Ebimobowei Emeka Ogbugh doing well in the Bangladesh Premier League and I also expect that I do well.” Najare added.

Musa Najare will wear the number 36 jersey for Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club.
