Lucas Rezenda got Liepaja back in the game from a fine strike in the 60th minute before Brazilian forward, Dodo made it 2-2 in the 81st minute. Andrej Llic scored the winner in the 85th minute to complete his brace.

Speaking to Sportlens360 ahead of the game against Valmieras on Wednesday, Hogan Ukpa urged his teammates to bounce back from the defeat as they prepare to face a tough side on Wednesday.

“It was a very tough loss, because we fought very hard to make a comeback in the game but it didn’t eventually go our way.

“What we have to do now is to bounce back from the defeat and focus on the match against a tough side like Valmieras and also being an away game for us.” Ukpa told Sportlens360.

The Nigerian midfielder continued to give his thoughts on the need to stay focused as they play their ninth league game of the season.

“We could have held on to the draw after the 81st minute or even get the winner but we lost focus and were unlucky. We just need to be focused at every point of the game and I believe we will win on Wednesday.” Ukpa added.
