Plateau United’s Oche Ochewechi eyes good end to the season

Plateau United midfielder, Oche Ochewechi says he is eyeing more goals, as the 2020/2021 NPFL season near its completion.

The 2017 league Champions cruised to a 4-0 win over struggling FC IfeanyiUbah at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

Daniel Jackson opened scoring for the home side in the 4th minute of the game before Oche Ochewechi added the second in the 53rd minute.

Muhammed Zulkifilu, a former defender, who is having a good season as a striker made it 3-0 and took his season tally to 12 goals. Uche Onwasoanya made it 4-0 just before the end of the game.

Oche Ochewechi, who scored his fifth goal of the season, said he is expecting himself to score more goals before the end of the season.

“I feel so great about my fifth goal of the season and I might still add to it before the season ends.

“Plateau United have not really had a good season because we couldn’t achieved our target but we will end the season on a high and make sure we compete for the title next season.” Oche told Sportlens360.

Plateau United are currently placed 9th on the NPFL log after Matchday 33, and will face MFM FC in Lagos on Wednesday.
