Tony Shimaga: Why today is Enugu Rangers most important game of the season so far

The Enugu Rangers midfielder believes today’s game can define their season

Enugu Rangers midfielder, Tony Shimaga has outlined why today’s clash with Adamawa United at Gombe is Rangers’ most important fixture of the season so far.

The 7-time league winners will face relegation-bound Adamawa United in a bid to finish as one of the continental representatives for Nigeria by placing first to third position on the NPFL log at the end of the season.

“Every next game is an important one and this one is like a final. I don’t expect it to be an easy one for us, because they are a decent side, despite the fact that they have been relegated.

“The outcome of today’s game will probably define our season” Shimaga told Sportlens360.

The former FC IfeanyiUbah midfielder also shared what needed to be done with the team in preparation for next season.

“There is nothing wrong with our team, we just didn’t get it right. I believe that it’s going to be better next season”. Shimaga said.
