Ikenne agog as NLO Teams Set For Evolution Cup

Evolution Cup is set to take center stage in Ikenne, as Ten NLO teams compete for the first edition of the tournament billed for Remo Stars Stadium Ikenne ,Ogun State.

The preseason tournament is scheduled to hold from February 21st to 26th, 2022 in a bid prepare NLO teams ahead of the new season.

According to Olatoye Olawale Project Strategist, said,” This Pre-season tournaments would be a mini-soccer festivals to give invited team a running start in to the new season in March/April 2022″.

“This pre-season tournament would serve as a great opportunity for NLO clubs and community to come together for days of competitive fun, to develop and make progress, also to socialise with their fellow club members and friends while practising and preparing for the season.” Olatoye said.

The tournament, sponsored by Alphakay International Sports and Packaged by Sportsflames communication will feature Abraysports FC, Right 2 Win FC, Olansile FC, Hammola International FC and Beyond Limits FC.

Other teams are Rolly FC, Magic Stars FC, Olukismet FC, Ilaji FC and SGFC Athletic .

With the round-robin format of the tournament, teams will be separated into two groups to face each other in encounters filled with thrills and excitements.

After each team would have played four (4) games in their respective groups, the top-placed team from each group will  qualify for the final to determine the overall winner.
