Falkenberg’s Aguda eager to prove his desire to play after goal against Ljungskile

Aguda ready to give his best after scoring his first goal of the season

Falkenbergs midfielder, Godwin Aguda said he was eager to prove his desire to play more often and was happy to score his first goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-1 league win over Ljungskile.

The 24-year old scored the opener for Falkenbergs through a long range strike in the 35th minute, before Wilhelm Arlig made it 2-0 just before the break. Ljungskile got their only goal of the game in the 90th minute through Linus Tornblad.

Aguda’s playing time for Falkenbergs in the 2021/2022 season was limited but he has started all four games for the Swedish side, since their relegation from the Superettan.

“It was a great goal for me. We had to fight for that win, considering Ljungskile haven’t lost this season before the game. I am happy that I was able to help out in the win.

“My stay in this team is to keep helping us get the needed win at every point in time.” Aguda told Sportlens360.

It was Aguda’s first goal since the start of the season with Falkenbergs playing in the Swedish Division One.

“I always want to be on the pitch to give my best. I’m glad that the coach is giving me opportunity to prove myself. We played so well and got our deserved win.” Aguda added.

Falkenbergs will play away to Trollhattan on Matchday five, next Monday.
