Hogan Ukpa: “We want to maintain the momentum against Metta”

FK Liepaja midfielder, Hogan Ukpa says he is expecting that his team maintain their winning run, when they face FK Metta at the Daugava Stadium, Riga on Sunday.

The Latvian league toppers, FK Liepaja have won their four matches played so far this season and will be looking to maintain that run against FK Metta.

Speaking to Sportlens360 in an interview ahead of the game, FK Liepaja midfielder, Hogan Ukpa says he is expecting nothing less than a win against FK Metta on Sunday.

“We have a good record against them and we have also started well this season. I’m expecting nothing less than a win on Sunday, so we can maintain this winning run”.

“They are a good side and it’s not going to be an easy ride for us, but we will do our best to get the win on Sunday”. Ukpa told Sportlens360.

The 20-year old Nigerian player, who has scored one league goal and made one assist so far this season, expect that his season gets better.

“I have one goal and one assist to myself and I’m trying hard to keep helping this team. I will get better as the season goes by”. Ukpa added.
