“There’s more to come from me” – Kayode Bankole
Kayode Bankole happy with his progress this season
Remo Stars Goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole believes there is still more to come from him after his impressive start to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The 19-year old has kept 9 clean sheets in 14 matches for Remo Stars this season and he is still assuring the club of more from him.
Remo Stars are currently third on the NPFL log after seventeen round of matches and Kanyode Bankole says he is happy with his progress so far.
“I’ve been really happy with how I have played in all the games. There’s still more to come from me.” Kayode told Sportlens360.
The former Shooting Stars goalkeeper also shared his thoughts on staying on the bench for three games.
“I was on the bench for three games before the last game against Sunshine Stars but it’s still a learning curve for me. Emmanuel Daniel is an experienced goalkeeper, so if the coaches feel he should start ahead, then it’s the best decision. It’s all for the team to progress.
“Remo Stars have done a lot for me so far, the coach (Gbenga Ogunbote) believes in me so much and that’s enough for me to keep giving my best.” He said.
The Sky blue stars will face Niger Tornadoes next at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Sunday.
